And here in Westward Ho! we’ve got some of the best waves in Devon. If you want to experience the thrills of riding them, join us for a 2-hour surfing lesson. You'll have approximately 20 minutes of beach training and 90 minutes of surfing time. It's the perfect introduction if you want to try surfing for the first time.

We’re an award-winning surf school set just above the beach. We have changing rooms, toilets, a cafe and a surf shop among our facilities - everything to help you get the most out of this experience.

We’ll supply all the equipment for the lesson, including a surfboard and wetsuit. It will be led by one of our fantastic, qualified instructors. They are ISA qualified, guaranteeing nothing but a top-notch experience. It doesn’t matter if this is your first time surfing or if you’re something of an expert, we’ll help you get even better.

Purchase this package and indulge your love of surfing. It includes two lessons of two hours each, which we’ll arrange on two separate days. They can be spread out, but are usually organised on two consecutive days.

Both lessons take place on Westward Ho! Beach. This is part of Bideford Bay in North Devon, where good waves from ocean swells from the Atlantic make for excellent surfing.

Our surf school is fully equipped with all the facilities that you need to enjoy a successful surf session or two. A cafe, male and female changing rooms and toilets and even a shop where we sell top-quality kit are some of the highlights of our beachside venue.

Our lessons are designed to help newbies and experienced surfers alike gain confidence and skills. To that end, we have a crack team of expert instructors who deliver the lessons. We provide surfboards and wetsuits too!
