10 things to do in Granada

Are you going to Granada to enjoy your holidays? Well, you are lucky to have chosen as destination one of the areas of Spain where some of the most exciting adventure sports accumulate, and all in a historical region of our country.

1. Carry out a parachute jump in Ventas de Huelma.



Board a plane and jump with an instructor from 3.000 meters in height. You will go down to 200 km / h during the first 35 seconds, and then we will open the parachute to complete the descent more smoothly. Being an activity that is not usually done regularly, it is best to hire the option of video and photo reporting.

2. Discover what mini-bungee jumping is in Lanjarón.



Just 30 minutes from the capital of the province, and in full Alpujarra Granadina, you can find this land of springs, where is the structure to make this jump, 12 meters above the ground. You can also choose “goming-up” instead, which will push you through two elastic rubber bands.

3. Go kayaking and practice snorkeling in Cerro Gordo.



Make a journey through these cliffs in the area of La Herradura, aboard individual or two-seater vessels. We can go into spectacular caves and dive with our diving glasses on so we can observe the marine animals.

4. Go paragliding over the Sierra Nevada.



Live a great flight experience in one of the most important mountain ranges in Spain. You will take off from a height of 1,300 meters and you will remain in the air for about 20 minutes. You will meet the instructor at Cenes de la Vega, to head to the perfect point of departure. If you wish, you can contract simultaneous flights, if you want to live a very special moment with your partner. You can even do extreme aerobatic flights!

5. Go canyoning in the Green River.



This is a perfect ravine to start practice this discipline in a totally controlled manner. It has different sections of the rappel, so the guide will teach you how to do this technique and you will be able to overcome huge walls with hardly any effort. It is located in Otívar, where the Verde River is born, about 300 meters above the sea.

6. Hot air balloon ride over the Alhambra.



Ride a hot air balloon with all your loved ones and get ready to contemplate the whole Granada city and the majestic Alhambra monument from the best perspective you could ever imagine. After the flight, we invite you to enjoy breakfast and will hand out a flight degree.

7. Horseback ride through Colomera.



You can come to ride through this area of Granada on a 2-hour excursion and culminate the experience with a night of accommodation in a luxury room for two people. You will have a hot tub waiting for you to relax after the adventure. Do not forget that you will be in a historic town where you can see a Roman bridge or the church of the Encarnación, from the 16th century.

8. Meet Sacramonte and the Albaicín with a Segway.



Explore some of the most important zones of the city of Granada whilst you discover how fun is to ride this vehicle, that is also 100% electric. You will make tourism by environments declared World Heritage, and you will do so in a sustainable way.

9. Go sailing on the Almuñecar coast.



Travel on a spectacular 12-meter boat and see the cliffs of Maro, where you can also snorkel. While you sail the sea, the boss will serve a glass of champagne to each passenger to toast for this day. You will also have different drinks for when you feel like refreshing yourself.

10. Helicopter flight over Salobreña castle.



Discover this historic monument, of Arab origin, on the Costa Tropical while you are on board a spectacular helicopter. You will depart from Motril to do this aerial tour.
