Finca Malpasillo is an equestrian center located in the Granada plain where we do all kinds of activities with which you can from learning the mastery of one of our 15 purebred Spanish horses strong> until leaving for distant destinations with our routes that last up to a week.
With the peaks of Sierra Nevada dominating the heights, our center is located in a fantastic natural environment in which to enjoy horseback riding, just a few minutes from the capital of Granada.
You will find the equestrian activity that may interest you the most within our offer:
- Riding classes: Choose between classical dressage, cowboy, high school, raid, jumping and other equestrian disciplines.
- Equestrian routes: With a minimum duration of 1 hour, they can be extended up to 7 days, reaching the city of Córdoba in an old-fashioned trip.
- Equestrian camps: Designed so that children begin to enjoy nature and an animal as noble as the horse. It has riding classes of all types, horse care, country routes, English teaching and other activities.
We also include farm-school activities in our center in which they can become familiar with animals other than the horse and learn to value nature.
Summary Horseback Riding
At the Finca Malpasillo Equestrian Center we provide you with excellent purebred Spanish horses with which you can go out to discover the Granada landscape of Temple and the Vega, close to Granada and the imposing peaks of Sierra Nevada . Or learn to master the most refined riding techniques.
Our equestrian offer is based on two main pillars:
- Horse riding lessons
- Horseback riding
Riding lessons
We teach riding classes of all the varieties that can be practiced on a horse: Classical dressage, cowboy dressage, high school, raid, jumping, etc. Choose the one that most attracts you and enjoy one of the 15 horses from our own stud farm.
You will learn in small group classes, with no more than 8 students per instructor. If you want even more personalized attention, you can also request private classes.
Horse riding routes
For lovers of routes and great landscapes we have horseback riding through the Granada plain. We use our own perfectly trained horses.
The routes can be at least 1 hour with walks around the equestrian center, extending their duration until reaching the extensive days on horseback that take us even to Córdoba with a 7-day itinerary.
For short-term itineraries we leave on Saturdays and Sundays all year round and for long ones we take advantage of the spring and autumn season.
Summary Horse Riding Camps
At Granja Escuela Finca Malpasillo, located in Las Gabias, 15 minutes from the Center of Granada, every summer we organize some very fun and complete camps. These combine farm, equestrian and Multi-adventure activities so that your children can have a great time in the middle of nature surrounded by wonderful animals.
Our activities to carry out, among others, are:
- Riding classes so they can learn to ride a horse.
- Horseback riding routes so that they can get to know the environment on the back of our animals.
- Zip line descending outdoors
- Climbing wall that you can climb up
- Various workshops on various topics with crafts and games
- Archery sessions to experiment with your aim
- Hiking excursions from the farm
- Care and feeding of a multitude of animals
- Evenings before going to sleep
- Group gymkhanas
In addition, there is the possibility of giving extra riding lessons for all those horse lovers who prefer it.
All of this in an incomparable and healthy environment, with spacious facilities where they will be permanently supervised by the team of monitors.
