There exist other modalities, which jumps are carried out with a crane and not a bridge, and the fastening is in the ankles and the jump produces bounces.

With this video, we will show you several bungee jumps in Granada so you can watch and see what’s all about:

What restrictions exist to do this activity?

To carry out a bungee jump, we don’t need any special requirement, nor have any previous experience, is an activity that can be done by anyone, and that the only obligation is to be brave during the jump. Minors need to be older than 16 and bring a parent’s authorization. The maximum recommended weight is 100 kilos.

Previous to the jump, you will get ready with all the safety material, the instructor will prepare the whole necessary mechanism for the jump, and will explain how you need to jump so you can enjoy the experience to the max. Normally, you can choose if you want to jump face-front or backward, even though, for the first time we recommend to do it facing the void, even though it all depends on the jumper.

¿Where to go bungee jumping in Granada?

In Granada, you will be able to do 3 types of jumps:

- Jumping in Lanjarón: The Tablete bridge is one of the highest in Spain where you can carry out this activity, specifically 80 meters, which allows a 25-meter free-fall jump, and all of it with the incredible views of La Alpujarra and Lecrín Valley, an incredible natural spectacle. The jump is done with 3 safety harnesses and 3 ropes with pendulum system that descend the jump. All the pieces of equipment fulfill all the safety rules and are certified so that everything is ok.

- Buengee Jumping: In the location of Granada, Durcal, you can enjoy a bungee jumps from 50 meters in height, and the elasticity of the rope will make you bounce other 40 meters, is just crazy!

- Mini bungee jumping and Goming-Up: If you want to start with an equally exciting activity but softer, we recommend mini bungee jumping, it takes place from a 12-meter in height platform, in a private state in El Brazal, and you also have the option of jumping face-front or backward. Also, to complete the activity, you can try goming-up, that is like a type of catapult built with elastic strips, that will make you fly and reach an approximate height of 25 or 30 meters and where a gravity sensation will be none.

Another alternative, near Granada, for the seasons it has restrictions to jump, is Gádor, in Almería. Here, you will have the opportunity of jumping from a height of 30 meters.

If you want to release tensions, fulfill a personal challenge, break barriers and scream like crazy, you need to try bungee jumping, after everything, you’ll see differently. There will be no task you won’t do.
