Reach Outdoors

Reach Outdoors is the passion project of three friends - Rachel Mayhew, Richard Hanbury and Ashley Hone - who have 30 years of outdoor activities experience between them. Located in South Devon, one of the best places for these kinds of activities in the UK (according to TripAdvisor), we will help you discover how nature, especially that of the English Riviera, can boost personal growth and development.

What is our mission? To strengthen your health, to push your connection with the environment and to have a great time in a UNESCO-status landscape, the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It's the perfect place for adventurers who want to discover the true power of watersports like kayaking, coasteering and paddleboarding, as well as terrestrial activities such as climbing.

We offer both private and group sessions in this stunning location. We work principally in Torbay and Goodrington Sands, where beautiful waters meet golden sands backed with green hills. To get to our HQ in Paignton you must take the A379 from Paignton city centre.

Awards are a way of recognising exceptional work and passion and we're very proud to say that we have some of the most distinguished ones. For instance, we received an award of excellency from TripAdvisor in 2018. The county of Devon also gave us the Devon Tourism Certificate in 2019, as we promote our hometown and increase national and international interest in tourism in the area.
