Come to our adventure base to surpass yourself and push your limits! Located in Vicdessos, in the Ariège department, we offer different climbing activities to help you discover the joys of this strong>mountain sport.
We are lucky to be in the Occitanie region, among the magnificent mountains and immense cliffs. We have explored them from top to bottom to take you there during your climbing escapades.
Our mountain professionals will introduce you to climbing on the highest points of the mountains in a friendly and safe environment.

Summary Via Ferrata
Montcalm Aventure takes you on the Via Ferrata du Vicdessos, one of the largestVia Ferratas in the Pyrenees.
Come and discover the Via Ferrata in a wild and preserved setting. Progress along the rock face on routes specially designed for yourleisure outings! The instructors will take you to the Vicdessos Valleyor to the Eastern Pyrenees for a full-day or half-day adventure.
Montcalm Aventure offers you two Via Ferrata courses to satisfy adults and children!
- The South Ridge: A route designed so that you can enjoy it with the whole family. This Via Ferrata is accessible to everyone, from the age of 7. A quiet route, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the peaks, the valley and the glacial valleys.
- The North Ridge: This route is a little more sporty and requires good physical condition. Accessible from the age of 12, it will make you feel the thrill between the large footbridge, the Tibetan and Nepalese bridges and the beams fixed to the wall.
Montcalm Aventure offers you all the equipment necessary to practice Via Ferrata in complete safety. The equipment is also available for rental for those wanting to embark on the rail route independently!

During an underground visit in the heart of Ariège, Montcalm Aventure Spéléologie invites you to awaken the adventurer in you.
Come explore the Pyrenees by doing caving in Haute Ariège! You will visit cavities adapted to your level:
- CAVES AND FAMILY HIKING: The selected horizontal caves are suitable for young people from 5 years old, but also for adults. They allow you to familiarize yourself with a little-known area and discover all the facets of this extremely special habitat that is the underground world, over the course of half a day. Enjoy a memorable family adventure.
