Located in the Midi-Pyrénées in the Ariège department, we are pleased to offer you this family outing in the caves of the Ariège-Pyrénées Valleys !
In a small group of 4 to 8 people, you will discover the caves of the Vicdessos river while having fun in the slides, abseiling via the ropes, and climbing the rocks.
This fun activity is suitable for the whole family, come in a group!
Schedule of the activity:
- We will meet you at our adventure base, in the village of Vicdessos.
- You will be warmly welcomed by a friendly instructor who will take care of you to prepare you for the activity.
- He will give you a briefing on the activity, explaining the planned route, the instructions to follow as well as the safety rules.
- Subsequently, he will provide you with all the equipment that we provide: the caving suit (all sizes), the helmet with electric lighting, technical equipment, boots and water shoes (available from 36).
- Set off to explore the caves of the subterranean river of Vicdessos, starting with a 15-minute approach walk to reach the Goulier stream.
- You will go down the ropes, go through narrow passages, in the blocks, then in the networks and finally you will come out via the river. 2 minutes later, you will have returned to the adventure base to carry out the briefing with your group.
Good to know:
- This activity is available all year round, but the most favorable period is from March to December (depending on weather conditions).
- Bring long-sleeved clothing that covers the legs, as well as sports shoes or boots. For people with long hair, you will need to tie it up (bring an elastic band).
