Summary Snowshoeing
With Gorgol snow activities are an incredible experience since we are experts in all types of sports. One of our specialties is mountain routes using snowshoes. Equipped with snowshoes, snow will no longer be a problem for excursions through the impressive high mountain landscapes of the Aragonese Pyrenees strong>. They are materials that allow us to walk without sinking in the snow, which will make our walks in this area much easier.
We offer magnificent routes through some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes that become impressive when covered by a white blanket of snow. Snowshoe excursions are ideal to do with your friends or family if you want to do something different in the middle of nature. At Gorgol we carry out different routes depending on the level of each person.
We carry out easy walks with snowshoes of low difficulty for people who are doing this activity for the first time. But we also offer some mid-mountain outings much more technical if you already have some experience and want to try something more difficult this time. It is a winter activity that is quite accessible to everyone and very entertaining and fascinating.
In Gorgol we have routes through the Pyrenees through different slopes and different durations. We can go inside the National Park of the French Pyrenees, cross the famous beech forest of the "Pacino Forest" or the Betato beech forest. There is also the possibility of visiting the Valle del Aguas Médicas and the bravest ones will be able to ascend the Pico del Portalet, Las Corvas or the La Sarra area. >.
At Gorgol we are in charge of providing you with all the materials: snowshoes and poles to support you along the way. At all times you will be accompanied by a mountain guide who will help you so that the route goes well and will explain everything important to you.
The simplest outings last between 3 and 4 hours, while the longest ones can last a total of 5 hours. A minimum group of 4 people will have to be formed by the company to be able to start the excursions.
Summary Climbing
Our climbing options in terms of types are the following, each with several levels:
- Sport climbing: Small routes equipped with grip points are undertaken throughout the rock section. It is the ideal type to start climbing. There are 3 climbing levels.
- High mountain and ridge climbing: If what you are looking for is the most classic type of climbing with us you can undertake ascents to mythical points of the Pyrenees such as the Maladeta peak, Posets, Vignemale, Monte Perdido or Aneto. We have two levels of climbing in this type, the second being related to climbing ridges.
- Ice climbing: In winter it is a very good option to try something different. We climb ice walls at points such as Panticosa, Lanuza, el Pueyo or Bielsa. Two levels of progression through spectacular ice walls and waterfalls.
Summary Canyoning
Canyoning is both a land and aquatic sport, and must use climbing and rappelling techniques such as stretches of jumping or swimming along the river bed. An ideal water park to spend long hours among rugged landscapes.
We have a ravine for each level:
- Level 1 ravine, Escarilla Gorge (Gállego River)
- Level 1.5 ravine, Gorgol Gorge
- Level 2 ravines, in the Tena Valley, Ara Valley and other points in the Huesca and French Pyrenees
- Level 2 and 3 ravines, in the Sierra de Guara, the true paradise of this sport
- Level 3 canyons, the most complete and hardest canyons
The approaches to the heads of the ravines as well as the duration of their descent will be very variable, depending on the type of ravine chosen.

The person who accompanied them on the tour with the snowshoes was very unprofessional, and I don't know if the value for money is worth it. -

Very good experience. Our guide (Pablo) is very nice and attentive! We recommend it and of course, it is to repeat.
The only improvement we recommend is that the material can be transported in the company van, for greater comfort. We had space in the trunk and there was no problem, but it is something that should be taken into account.Company's response:
Thank you very much for your trust and for your suggestions, we like them very much and so we can improve.
We hope to see you back in the valley soon.
