At Garganta de los Infiernos Nature Activities we are dedicated to promoting active tourism with which our users will be able to not only visit the place where they are in its most natural side but also participate in that nature with a adventure activity that we have in our extensive list.

We carry out canyoning trips through the Jerte Valley, a region in the north of Extremadura that has a very varied vegetation and landscape: from holm oaks and oaks , to forests with willows and rose bushes that grow wild.

This activity will allow you to see each of the altitudes of this valley with each of its different landscapes since it consists of descending a river through its canyons. Starting from the highest point to the lowest and going through each level of the location in which it is carried out.

It is not necessary to have previous experience in canyoning to be able to sign up for this excursion, since we organize different outings according to the levels of the group of people who come to do it. So those starting from scratch will not have problems, because we will explain step by step how it should be done.

We organizemountain bike routes through different points in the north of Extremadura with the aim of discovering these landscapes in a healthy and at the same time entertaining way.

Some of the routes with which we will visit new places by bicycle are:

- Mountain bike route through the Jerte Valley: visit this varied landscape on pedals accompanied by a group and a guide who will lead you and take you through the most unknown and impressive points.

- Route through the Monfragüe Natural Park: the group guide will take you to the points where you can best appreciate the flora and fauna of this natural place where the animals are safe and on freedom.

In Garganta de los Infernos we have hiking routes of different levels and for all ages with the aim of getting to know the Jerte Valley in depth.

Examples of some of them are:

- Hiking Level I: route that is not very difficult to do, therefore it can be done by children and adults. There we will see the natural pools of Los Pilones, Puente Nuevo and take a guided tour of the Jerte interpretation center.

- Hiking Level II: we will go through all those places that are passed in the first level of hiking difficulty and the beautiful landscapes of the Reboldo forest and the Carrascal Bridge will be added. This activity will last about 7 hours, depending on the pace of the group itself.

- Hiking Level III: within this high level of difficulty we have two tour options in which we will see unknown places such as Majadillas and one of the river gorges of the Jerte Valley, the Garganta de los Asperones.

Depending on the level of hiking experience of the hiking group, we will assign one type of route or another.

These are the routes that we offer in our LandRover all-terrain vehicle:

- Guided Route to the Pilones: during this route, if the weather is good we can stop to bathe in the natural pools that exist in said place.

- Guided Route through the Garganta de los Infiernos: this is a long-lasting off-road route, approximately 5 hours. On this tour we will see the famous Tornavacas Pines and the varied vegetation of the Serrá Valley, among other places also known as Puente Nuevo.

- Guided Route by vehicle through the Jerte Valley: along this route we will visit the impressive Caozo Waterfall and the Nogaledas Waterfalls. A tour of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Jerte Valley.
These itineraries are also designed so that children under 12 can do them.
