El Rancho Evergreen

The Evergreen Ranch is a family space where you can see the country lifestyle up close, learn to ride a horse, take a walk around the ranch in Chichihuistan, near of San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Within the riding classes we offer you 2 types of mounts: English and Charro. Our horses are docile and also very friendly as they have been raised in freedom and under the care of those responsible for the ranch.

Not only do we give horse riding classes, we also do day-long activities with children in which it is as if they will visit a ranch to learn how it works, they learn which animals are domestic and how to take care of them. We also do environmental education dynamics and interaction with animals.

In addition to the activities for children led by our coach and instructor, Samuel, we also offerguided horseback ridingfor those people who already know how to ride and have experience. We organize walks through the forest and in the countryside.

For those who want to enjoy nature and delicious Mexican food, we also organize walks to learn about the fauna and flora that are typical of this ecosystem. Even for the most amateur and knowledgeable, we organize bird watching excursions.
