"Adelfo Ávila was our guide on the Coffee Route / Huauchinango Puebla. He knows perfectly the history and traditions of that municipal seat where he took us to the places of greatest interest; Then he stopped at a bird reserve at the Necaxa dam, wonderful to see this effort by the local fishermen. The best thing, hearing about his passion and experience of the “Don Primo” coffee farm, masters the topic and production of coffee; With pride - which is contagious - he allowed us to learn about this process that is export quality and the effort they make so that in our Mexico we can enjoy this fruit. A memorable experience, where you breathe respect for the Earth!"

Tips if you are going to do Hiking in Mexico

The trekking tours are very affordable and do not require a great physical effort, less than you can imagine for, the meaning is an activity that can be enjoyed by a family with kids. Take care of your feet and discover until where you can take them and meet new places with beautiful sights.

1. Forget about everything and walk until you can



There is no excuse to start walking, because is an interesting activity that has different routes with different difficulty levels and performance. We said before that to enjoy a hiking route, you don’t need to have a great physical condition, so the participants can be beginners and/or minors. You can choose easy routes, even on the same trails. There are no excuses to carry out the routes separately or not enjoyed a nice tour.

2. You have a lot of incredible destinations to walk on.



In Mexico, we have different paths were to walk is just heavenly, whether in the Sierras of Oaxaca, the Lacandona de Chiapas forest, through Pinturas Rupestres of South Baja California, the Barrancas del Cobre in Chihuahua or the famous Pico de Orizaba in Veracruz, and this just to mention some of the most popular excursions, because throughout the Mexican Republic you can practice this sport, knowing wonderful places where the vast majority of them speak of their culture and history that passes generation after generation.

3. Make new friends whilst walking.



Whatever your destination, we assure you that you will make new friends with whom you can share experiences and routes that you have already made. Support each other in these new adventures, leaving competitiveness aside, as the incredible thing about this sport is that it does not matter who arrives first, but that you enjoy the way and appreciate the landscapes full of nature with good company.

4. Make exercise without even noticing.



It will be a so-relaxing activity that you won’t even notice that you are doing exercise, but each step you take will add kilometers to your experience, and even be able to walk like you never imagined before. You will strengthen your muscles, burn calories, and reduce cholesterol, whilst encouraging your health with fresh air.

5. The routes are guided by a professional.



For major security and service quality, a guide always will be leading the tour, making sure that you all are alright, hydrated, and will also talk about the touristic places since you will be walking through jungles, woodlands, ravines, etc. Him/her will take charge of taking you and return you to the starting point.
