Tips if you are going to do Horseback Riding in Mexico

Enjoy a relaxing horseback ride, with a more exotic touch, through different destinations across Mexico. This is a different kind of ride, in the outdoors, where you can enjoy being in contact with nature and beautiful landscapes around you. 1. Create a bond with the animals



It is important to create a good connection with the animal you are going to ride and, remember that if we are scared, the animals will sense it. For this reason, before starting the trip, the guide will give you instructions on how to best carry out the experience. Horses are very noble and grateful animals, so they will feel the love that you can give them during the tour and will rewards you with a great ride that you will enjoy at all times. Don't hesitate to express your love for them along the way.

2. Discover long-distance paths without getting tired



The advantage of a horseback riding is that you will be able to travel long distances without getting tired, whether you are riding through a desert, the jungle, a forest or the beach, you will reach more distant and even hidden corners that you might not have been able to do on foot. We recommend that you always wear comfortable clothing, a hat or cap so that the sun and heat do not affect your experience and you can enjoy it to the fullest. Don't forget a bottle of water to refresh and hydrate yourself at any time.

3. And ideal plan to share as a family or couple



As it is a low risk activity, since the animals are trained to be in contact with people requiring little effort, making it the perfect plan to share with the family, and the kids will enjoy it greatly. Being in contact with animals is something that little ones always love, so don't hesitate to do this activity with your kids, as both them and you will enjoy it and it will be a different way to get to know and explore new places, besides it is important that they start becoming familiar with the animals from a young age. 4. A guided and safe route



Don't worry if it's your first time on horseback, the guide will lead the way and explain to you the places you will visit during the tour. Another thing you should take into account is that the animals are trained to co-exist with people, so you will not be in any danger when you are near them or when you ride them. Before starting the trip, the staff will explain to how you should interact with the animals so that they do not get upset, you will also be able to take pictures with them but you will have to wait until the guide lets you know when is the best time to do so. You can find routes from 15 minutes to 2 hours.

5. A relaxing activity in the open air



All outdoor activities help to relax and release the stress that we tend to accumulate during our day-to-day activities. Enjoy a ride through different natural settings and relax with the natural movement of the animal.
