5-day tour exploring indigenous Chiapas

If you want to have a real approach to the indigenous culture and traditions that are still preserved in many communities in Chiapas, this is a trip made for you.

This thematic tour takes you on a 5-day adventure to:

Day 1: Visit to the Sumidero Canyon, one of the most important natural settings in Mexico. Afterwards we will visit the town of Chiapa de Corzo. In the afternoon we will visit the La Marimba Natural Park, to spend the night in the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez.

Day 2: Start the day getting to know the indigenous community of Zinacanta, then we will go to the community of San Juan Chamula, one of the most famous for its traditions and mysticism. The hotel tonight is in San Cristóbal de Las Casas.

Day 3: On the third day we will visit the Chiflón waterfalls, and in the afternoon the Montebello Lakes, to return again to San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Day 4: First thing in the morning we will go to the archaeological zone of Tonica, then we will visit the Agua Azul Waterfall, and we will sleep tonight in Palenque.

Day 5: Tour of the archaeological zone of Palenque with entrance to the La Venta museum, so that we finally move to Villahermosa and finish the tour.
