Welcome to BSUPA Level 1 "Ready to Ride" Stand-up Paddleboarding course! It is accredited and designed for individuals who wish to become familiar with the sport to confidently and safely paddle alone or with a company.

You will acquire the skills and knowledge you need during this two-hour session to get on the waters properly and enjoy yourself. The following are included in this session:

Understanding how the weather and environment affect certain circumstances
The proper way to carry the board and paddle
Paddling strategies
Types of turns
Self-rescuing
Safely falling into the water
Planning adventures
Positioning in SUP throughout the session

Moreover, after all the hard work, you will receive a BSUPA Level 1 Ready to Ride Certificate after the training! Our experienced instructors will provide you with a safety briefing and the necessary equipment.

Individuals at least 18 years old may only participate in this activity. Furthermore, all that is required is that you feel comfortable plunging into the water with a personal floating device. To prevent any terrible incidents, please apply plasters to your legs or feet. You are also welcome to bring flip-flops, wear your running shoes, or dress however you like.
