Deal overview
This paddleboarding taster is for those who have never experienced SUP before and want to enjoy something new. You will learn basic skills and have a memorable time on a beautiful lake.
During this 3-hour session, you will be coached by an experienced instructor. They will start things off by talking about how to stay safe, then lead the group onto the water and cover skills such as launching, standing on the board, paddling and maintaining balance.
We have different locations where you can enjoy your paddleboarding session. One of the most popular is Semerwater, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Alternatives include Boroughbridge and Ullswater in Cumbria.
This is a great option for groups, from 4 people to 20. Children and teens are welcome to join as well and all the specialist equipment is included. Just bring what you’d normally take for a day at the beach, including a full change of clothes and shoes.

How about enjoying a watersports adventure with your dog? We are 100% sure you won't find another paddleboarding session like this! We usually run these sessions on Semerwater, near Reeth in the Yorkshire Dales, but can arrange alternative locations too.
Our ethos is that everyone should enjoy outdoor experiences and that includes our canine friends! We can plan this activity to include between 4 and 10 people plus their dogs! It’s designed for beginners.
This session is 3 hours long and goes like this - you’ll start on the board without your pooch to get used to SUP, then introduce the board to your dog on dry land. Then it’s onto the water together!
One of our watersports experts and animal lovers will lead the session. They will also provide the paddleboarding equipment and safety gear and a waterproof layer which will help you stay warm on the lake.
