When we think of the River Thames, we usually think of the busy waterway in central London. Did you know that just 20 minutes from the city centre, the river flows past interesting islands and between grassy banks?

You can discover this unique face of the Thames by paddleboard at your leisure with us. We provide all the equipment and you set off on a self-guided tour from River Lane in Richmond to Eel Pie Island in Twickenham.

We’ll give you a paddleboard, paddle, life jacket and dry bag on arrival on the slipway. After a quick session on the river to make sure that everyone’s comfortable on their SUP, we’ll hand you a map and information sheet and send you on your way.

The session is 3 hours long, which is enough time to paddle to Twickenham and explore the famous Eel Pie Island. Why not bring a picnic to enjoy on the island? Or stop at the White Swan Pub for a drink and a bite to eat.

Everyone who can use a SUP is welcome to take this tour, including those under 18 years old if they’re with adults.
