It’s called a Seascooter and it’s a handheld motor which propels you through the water, saving you all the energy of open water swimming! We invite you to explore the Blue Lagoon in North Yorkshire in this innovative way.
We’ve got a fleet of Seascooters and we’re offering you the chance to get your hands on one and take it for a spin (or be taken for a spin?) around the lake. We’ll equip you with a snorkel and a mask so that you can enjoy subaquatic views at high speed.
The sessions are led by qualified dive instructors. They’ll teach you how to use the Seascooter in the shallow bay area of the lake before taking you on a subaquatic sightseeing tour. Another option, particularly for larger groups, is to organise a relay race around a marked course.
We need at least two people for every booking, while the maximum group size is 10. You don’t need any diving experience but you must be able to swim. Bring a wetsuit if you have one or borrow one from us!
