The Anglers in Teddington is where we conduct our one-hour introductory paddleboarding classes throughout the summer. Before heading out on the River Thames, you will be given a quick safety orientation and instructed on how to deploy your paddleboard and use some fundamental paddling techniques.
You must be able to swim and have water confidence. Learning to paddleboard requires flexibility, courage, and the ability to stand up from kneeling. This price is for 10-18 year-olds, but they must be confident swimmers and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Join them by booking our adult option.
We take people with disabilities or special needs out on the water, but please get in touch with us before making a reservation as you might require a private session to get the coach's complete attention. Moreover, we ask you to wear appropriate clothing and bring essential personal items.
