Before you can let loose with this traditional Hawaiian sport and see Limerick in a whole new special light, the expert guide leading you will deliver a safety briefing and then ensure you get all the safety equipment you need which includes the paddle and board, of course, but also a helmet, life jacket and wetsuit.
SUP is a fun way to work out, so much so that it won't feel as exhausting with so many beautiful sights to spot and exciting skills to learn; the rewards of perfecting the basics and gaining confidence will make it worth it.
