We’re going for a picnic! And not only that, we’re going to reach a perfect picnic spot by paddleboard. This is a 4-hour experience that allows you to totally disconnect from the modern world and enjoy the simple things in the moment.
You’re looking at a reduced price for children and teens, aged between 5 and 17 years old. You can bring them along with you on this SUP adventure with a ratio of one adult to three juniors.
We meet at the waterside in Barrow upon Soar. After going over safety procedures we’ll push on from the banks and set off on a journey surrounded by trees, reed beds and meadows to the location where we’ll sit on the bank and eat the picnic.
We supply all the SUP equipment for this experience. You don’t need to be an expert because the Soar is calm and there are opportunities to rest along the route.

Deal overview
Spice things up by swapping walking for paddleboarding! You’ll glide downriver and along canals lined with trees and vegetation, then step off the board onto dry land and enjoy a riverbank picnic!
The experience is around 4 hours long. We will start with a safety briefing, set off on our paddleboards then spend some time by the water enjoying a delicious picnic lunch.
The paradisiacal setting for this experience is the River Soar around Barrow upon Soar - our meeting point. All our equipment will be ready and waiting for you, so you don’t need to worry about supplying your own SUP kit.
Enjoy a bottle of bubbly to mark a special occasion or make it a family day out with the kids, it’s up to you. Participants under the age of 18 have a discounted price so please book them separately.
