SUP + Painting Tour on the River Soar (5-17yrs) 2h

Flowing with the current that is! Take a trip on a paddleboard down the meanders of a river to an artistic space, and leave all of your emotions on the canvas.

Our SUP and painting tours take place on the River Soar in Leicestershire. From our meeting point in Barrow upon Soar, it’s about a half hour paddle to and from the destination and we’ll spend an hour painting, so the whole experience is two hours long.

We supply all the equipment materials for both paddleboarding and painting, as well as some snacks and drinks. We also have guides for both parts of the trip - to help you on the water and in the studio.

This activity is suitable for anyone over the age of 5. It’s available for groups of up to 5 people, with a maximum of 3 under 18s in the group. Adult places are booked using a separate price.

It’s a paddleboarding tour and painting session in surroundings dominated by trees, rivers and meadows. A thirty-minute paddle is followed by an hour’s painting and then the return journey - 2 hours in total.

We have our very own art studio in the open air on an island on the River Soar. You’ll be guided by an art instructor to create a beautiful painting inspired by the views and the sensations of SUP. There will be drinks and snacks available to keep you going!

To make sure that your paddle strokes match your brush strokes, a watersports guide will be on hand too. They’ll meet you at Barrow upon Soar, distribute SUP equipment, go over the safety details of the activity and lead you upriver.

You don’t need to be a watersports expert or a “talented” artist to enjoy the trip, it’s all about letting go and expressing yourself. We can take groups of up to 5 adults. Children can come too, look for our discounted price.
