This hiking experience lasts one day in total.
Deal overview
We take you to the point where the excursion begins. It is located in the Strait of San Blas and is 1430 meters high. We will walk along 1500 meters, walking in the opposite direction to the course of the Júcar. We will arrive at the source of the Júcar River, in the Strait of Hell.
But our journey has only just begun, practically, and from here we will continue the ascent, between pine forests and hills. We will reach the division between the Atlantic and Mediterranean basins.
After having overcome a difference in altitude of 700 meters, we will be able to see the San Felipe Peak, which with its 1838 meters, establishes the objective we will reach. Once reached, we will begin to descend towards the Cañada del Perro, 500 meters below.
It is easy to spot animals such as fallow deer or deer while we travel through these mountain forests. Also huge birds like the griffon vulture, eagles or Egyptian vultures.
We will finally reach the source of the Cuervo River. We will stop here so you can eat a picnic and rest. The final prize will be enjoying its waterfall on limestone rock.
It is required to come adequately equipped for the route.
The tour is done with groups of 10-20 people. If you are less, you have to contact us.
