10 things to do in Cuenca

The region of Cuenca has the ideal orography to be able to carry out a great series of adventures that in comparison with other places in Spain are not possible. That’s why the ideal destination for your escapade, if you want to live nex experiences and meet deeply La Mancha land.

1. Go canyoning in the Ventana del Diablo.



One of the most famous ravines at the Peninsule, and an ideal adventure to start practicing this sport. Easy difficulty level, but a spectacular in practice. You will go down through natural slides and jump into the void and fall into beautiful ponds.

2. Explore the Serranía of Cuenca by horse.



You can enter and explore in the woodlands in this mountaineering area whilst practicing horse riding. You will participate in a low-difficulty journey, always with an expert guide a the lead. Also, you will leave with a pics compilation that will be done during the trail.

3. Book a rafting descend in the Guadiela river.



Whilst boarding a raft, you will sail through rapids, in a route that goes from Albendea to San Pedro de Palmiches. Do you want to come with kids? Well, adding to that they can come, they can with a reduced price. So, the families won’t have any impediment.

4. Have fun in the via ferrata of Hoz de Priego.



This is another activity that is suitable for both, adults and kids. In groups, and following the indications from the guide, you will always walk and continue whilst hooked to a steel cable and surpassing challenges that the mountains have for you.

5. Descend the Alto Tajo with a kayak.



Carry out a journey with these watercrafts, one-seaters or two-seaters, and contemplate one of the natural, prettiest and amazing territories of Castilla La Mancha. You will also watch closely the majestic vulture flights, because its nexts are found in the peaks of the ravines walls that e will cross.

6. Play a paintball match in Villalba de la Sierra.



Surpass the missions that the referee gives, in several fields prepared for an immersive experience. Also, once the match is finished, you, altogether, can enjoy a huge BBQ that will be prepared within the facilities.

7. Practice Paddle Surfing in the Bundía Reservoir.

8. Speleology in Serranía de Cuenca National Park.
