To be able to do a route of about 4 or 5 hours at a medium mountain level, we have designed an excursion along the Monachil and Dílar rivers. Nearby is Laguna de la Mula. Here we can see a waterfall called Chorreras del Molinillo, which originates in the mountain itself and is more than 100 meters high.

To do this, we will start the route from Güejar Sierra, which is a town in the heart of Sierra Nevada. Once at our destination we will have the opportunity to cross the river, so it is advisable to wear loose-fitting pants that you can roll up your sleeves and do so barefoot to feel the purity of one of the most famous springs in Spain.

It is a route that is ideal to do with the family, including children or friends, since it is in the lower middle area of the mountain and the slopes are not too pronounced. Ideal to get lost in one of the most beautiful places in Granada.
