The Iberian Peninsula offers us a multitude of mountainous challenges, but the highest peak of all is that of Mulhacén, at 3478 meters. Do you dare to reach the top?

We are going to organize an expedition to enjoy the charms of this mountain, passing through gorges, lagoons, seeing wild animals, beautiful vegetation, and finally reaching the summit.

It will be about 12 hours of travel, between ascent and descent. Despite the high altitude to which we will reach, it is a medium level route, which means that it is not excessively technical, but it does require experience of long routes, since otherwise it could not be done too hard.

The excursion can be done during the day or at night, watching the sunrise from the mountain. We can also do it in different seasons of the year. If you repeat, you will see that the landscape is totally different between winter and summer, seeming like two different routes.
