Do you want to discover the Picos de Europa National Park like you have never imagined? Now you have the opportunity with our two-day trekking route between Sajambre and Valdeón (León).
We will meet in Soto de Sajambre, from where we will head towards the Sajambre valley. We will enter its forested bowl until we reach Vegabaño, from where we will ascend to the summit of Pico Jario, almost 2,000 meters high. To finish the first day, we will descend towards Vegabaño, where the shelter that will give us shelter that night is located and where we will enjoy a typical dinner.
The second day our route will be in a southeast direction, specifically towards the Puerto de Dobres. We will reach the Collado del Frade and re-enter the forest to contemplate the Roblón de Cuesta Fría. We will visit Vega de Vegabaño and pass through another forest to return to Soto de Sajambre, meeting point and end of this route of about 12 kilometers.
