Come climb the highest peak in North Africa! Toubkal is a mountain located in Morocco of more than 4 meters that you can climb in this organized activity that will last 5 days. You will go with an expert instructor with AEGM-UIMLA accreditation, and accommodation for 4 nights will be included.
Next, we will explain the program that we have prepared:
- First day: Meeting point at the Marrakech airport with the local guide and transfer to Imlil, a Berber village in the heart of the Toubkal valley. Night accommodation in a hotel with dinner and breakfast included.
- Second day: We leave for trekking with a local guide, cook and mules to carry the luggage. It will be a 12 km route. in which we will pass through Armed (1850 m.) towards Marabout Sidi Chamharouch, a pilgrimage site where we will eat. We will continue through the massif and stop to have tea at Imi n'Tifrite, and finally we will arrive at the refuge to spend the night. To sleep here, you will need to bring a thin sleeping bag or sleeping bag.
- Third day:We will get up early to take a 20 km route. and the ascent of Toubkal safely. We will reach the hole of Akhbi n'Tizi (3700 m.) and we will continue to the Collado and later to the Arista, until we finally reach the summit of Toubkal (4167 m.). Here we can enjoy the impressive views of the Atlas Massif. We will go down until we reach Imlil to have dinner and rest after having achieved the objective.
- Fourth day: Breakfast in the town Imlil and transportation to the hotel in Marrakech, to spend the free day in the city. Dinner and night included in the hotel.
- Fifth day: breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Marrakech airport.
This activity is subject to weather conditions and availability of accommodation, or other circumstances for the safety of the group. We organize departures from Monday to Friday in the months of June, September and October, for specific dates consult the calendars.
You will love this trip to the Toubkal mountain range, as it has a very different culture, customs and landscapes that are undoubtedly worth knowing.
