The Guadalmina Ravine or Angosturas Ravine, is located in Benahavis, a village situated between Ronda, Estepona and Marbella. This ravine forms along the Guadalmina riverbed in the area known as "Charco de las Mozas" (Maidens' Pool).
The rivers crossing Benahavis are: Guadalmina, Guadaiza and Guadalmansa.

This is the perfect ravine for beginners as it features low difficulty and a short length of 1000 metres. Suitable for families and children's groups.
The ravine is beginner-level with an estimated descent time of approximately three hours.

Along the route you'll find various jumping spots, fun natural slides and abseiling sections.
Technically speaking, the Guadalmina river ravine has a near-final section with a 50-metre drop overcome by abseiling.
The descent can be undertaken year-round due to its low difficulty level.

Ravine route
During your descent you'll cross stunning natural landscapes with narrow passages and multi-metre waterfalls. You'll encounter canyon sections and river-formed caves, plus limestone rock areas.

This is an easy descent, with only two minor siphons presenting slight challenge.
The entry point begins at "Charco de las Mozas" at Benahavis village entrance. The descent starts with a swimming hole, followed by an abseiling section.

The central section features narrow passages called "cahorro" - the ravine's most beautiful part, characterised by slippery rocks perfect for fun jumps and natural slides.

The ravine concludes with a small dam where you can enjoy swimming in Guadalmina's waters.
Throughout the route you'll experience spectacular mountain scenery.
