Now, if you don't know where to start looking, we'll do it for you. We've discovered some of the most beautiful areas in the country and when you see them, you'll think they've been taken from a fairy tale or a movie, but no. Take note, we're telling you!
Timanfaya National Park
No, you are not on Mars, the planet, nor in Iceland. Specifically, you are much further south, in the middle of the Atlantic, one might say. Do you know where we're going, right? Because in Spain we have a paradise known as the Canary Islands and, specifically, this place can be found on the island of Lanzarote.

Its volcanic land of dark and reddish tones along with the craters that run through this natural setting, are taken from a typical sci-fi film, we know, so even though it seems like a distant country or even a planet, we encourage you to explore every centimetre of Timanfaya. And don't worry, because you don't have to do it on foot, you can always do it riding in a buggy or on a quad, for example.
Guilpiyuri Beach
Did you know you don't need to find a sea to have a beach? And no, in this case, we're not talking about any kind of lagoon or anything like that. You just have to travel to northern Asturias and believe in magic.
Separated from the imposing Cantabrian Sea by a series of low cliffs, this beach appears out of nowhere due to some seepages, creating an unusual and inexplicable landscape for many. A perfect space of contrasts to spend a day away from everything and enjoy a pleasant swim in its crystal clear turquoise waters and, similarly, if you practice snorkelling here, you might discover different marine life.
Pozo Azul (Blue Well)
You might think it's a puddle in the middle of nowhere, but you're wrong... It hides a great secret! Its turquoise waters, synonymous with the Caribbean Sea, though with a big temperature difference, are simply the small hiding place of one of the deepest and longest flooded cavities in the world, with siphons and galleries in between.
A natural spring located in the Valle de Rudrón, it might remind you, as we said, of the Caribbean, but for many it becomes the paradise for cave diving. Furthermore, the Burgos area presents itself as a great enclave for hiking practices.
Cala del Moraig
Do you know the secret hidden between the Alicante towns of Moraira and Xàbia? Take note because right on the Costa Blanca, a paradise, in the most tropical style, with crystal clear waters, makes its way. This place known as Cala del Moraig will leave you fascinated by its brutal natural beauty.

It is a perfect space to spend a beach day and enjoy all kinds of water activities like coasteering, or kayak routes. Furthermore, this type of activity can give you the opportunity to discover the Cova dels Arcs, this place being one of the most frequented areas for taking amazing photos.
Fragas do Eume
Who said Costa Rica? You are only in the north of the peninsula; to be more specific, this Galician spot, considered one of the best-preserved Atlantic forests in all of Europe, can be found in the province of A Coruña.
Walking along its paths will become an unparalleled journey through a forest many dream of; inside you will find a genuine grove of all kinds and, furthermore, you can be impressed when constructions like monasteries make their way through so much vegetation.
And now that you know up to 5 new dreamlike places, aren't you tempted to check out their beauty firsthand? Also, you don't just have to visit the area, you can also practice endless activities, some of which are the ones we've mentioned, so... what are you waiting for?
