For the second consecutive year, Yumping.com, the leading online booking portal for active tourism, releases its report known as Yumping Trends. Its publication is carried out with the intention of supporting and presenting a more concrete vision of the context in which active tourism and adventure sports operate. To achieve this, we have relied on accurate data and statistics presented through exhaustive analysis.

Active tourism has established itself as a mature segment with stable demand. Consequently, it has been recorded that at least 21.4% of the tourist activities and experiences offered online in Spain correspond to active tourism exercises.

Regarding the purchase decision, the female demographic appears above the male once again this year. Simultaneously, it falls predominantly to adult profiles (ranging from 45 to 54 years old) with greater economic stability, but it is noteworthy that the final experience is enjoyed in many cases by younger users.

For another year, Barcelona leads the ranking of provinces with the highest sales of active tourism experiences, at 13.9%, followed by Madrid and Alicante, with 12.92% and 7.14% respectively. Furthermore, it is observed that nearly 88% of the online supply of tourist activities is concentrated in regions such as Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community, and Madrid.
