Welcome to Walking on Waves surf school in Devon!

We are proud to say that we have over 20 years of experience and expert instructors to get you up and riding! Surfing is a fun, challenging and rewarding sport suitable for all ages. We have been operating since 2003, under the guidance and wishes of our worldwide competitor owner Sarah Whiteley! She is a British and European Surf Champion.

Over the years, and after thousands of surf adventures, Walking on Waves has become a bespoke spot to learn surfing. We welcome complete beginners and more experienced surfers. We are ready to assist you with whatever needs you may have.

We also have paddleboarding sessions for the ones who like to spend some time in the water. We run sessions at Saunton Sands Beach, North Devon which is known to have breathtaking backdrops, and one of the best surfing beaches in the UK which guarantees you'll be speechless.

You are welcome to come with your family and friends. We can cater to mixed and private groups.
