Nick Thorn Surf Coaching is a company founded by prestigious surfing expert Nich Thorn. His 20 years of experience teaching people and getting trained in the best schools in the country and around the world has turned us into the reference center of water sports in Devon. We're located Putsborough Beach, part of Woolacombe Bay, considered one of the greatest coastline areas in the United Kindom.

To get here, you take the Challacombe Hill Road and Marine Drive if you take off from Woolacombe village and, in just a 4-minute drive, you'll be arriving. If you're coming from Putsborough, your drive will take 13 minutes along the Putsborough Road. 

We provide a great range of coasteering, paddleboarding and surfing activities. We believe that sport must be supported by excellence and hard work, so we are an Adventure Activities Licensing Authority's company, with safety is one of our key values. We also work with important associations related to our fields, like the Paddleboarding Southwest or the Surfers World organisations. With them, we try to upgrade our rules, the equipment and everything that we need to provide the best experiences. 

At the same time, we allow people to hire our equipment in case they want to enjoy the sessions on their own, so everyone can find what they need and want at Nick Thorn Surf Coaching!
