The Coniston Shooting Ground

The Coniston Shooting Ground is based on the Coniston Estate near Skipton, which has 1400 acres of superb land to practice a variety of sports on. We are in the very heart of the stunning North Yorkshire Dales and headed by Peter Manley. The ground is run by a team of experienced and highly qualified shooting instructors and staff.

You will find us just off the A65 Skipton to Settle Road and our site allows for some of the most challenging and interesting clay pigeon shooting and target archery practice.

The ground is CPSA Premier Plus ranked, making it one of the best grounds in the UK. We offer modern facilities such as a log cabin clubhouse, complete with shop, conference room and it’s very own catering facility.

We cater for all levels of experience at The Coniston Shooting Ground. We supply a gun, safety instruction and an instructor for beginners, allowing them to gain a basic grounding in the fundamental shooting skills.

We aim to get everyone hitting at least 50% of the clays by the end of their session. Whether you are looking to join us for a days shooting, a corporate event or to become a member of our grounds, a warm welcome is always guaranteed.
