We call this activity "Sea Cliff Traversing"   This is a day of combined activities involving, Abseiling, Tyrolean traverse (the death slide!) and Rock Scrambling, all undertaken along the beautiful and scenic  Anglesey coast line.

The day involves abseiling down to the waters edge, then  traversing along the cliffs, crossing water filled channels, climbing into caves and scrambling out through the water washed passages.

The Tyrolean traverse involves crossing a large yawn –very challenging! This is an atmospheric day out, ever changing with the tide.  A day of sun, sea and wind with personal and group challenges, this day will test your mettle and give you a sense of accomplishment at the end.  Dress to get wet!

Mountain biking gives you back what you put into it. For people who want to feel the wind in their faces, experience amazing views and get lots of fresh air. For the novices, why not try a ride along one of the many forest, farm cycle tracks or old railway routes. Mountain bike hire is available for individuals and groups at venues around the Greater Manchester and West Pennine Moors Countryside.

  Mountain bike skills day level 1 – A course to introduce you to the basic techniques you will need when off-road mountain biking.
  Mountain bike skills day level 2 – Learn additional skills and techniques to ride trails confidently and safely.

With courses including;

• Sports Climbing Introduction – An ideal two day course for someone who wants to build on their existing indoor skill and move outdoors.

• Rock Climbing and Abseil Day – On real rocks for all ages and abilities, be the climber and also the belayer – responsible for the climbers safety!
   
• Climbing Wall to Real Rock – A two day course for those who have experience climbing indoors, covering the essentials of ropes and more, leaving you with a good base.
   
• Learn to Lead Climb – Over two days, this course is ideal for people who already have seconding experience. You will learn essential knots, ropework for belays, climbing calls and more.
   
• Multi Pitch Climbing – For people who like the idea of the BIG mountain cliffs of North Wales or the Lake District. Introduces skills and techniques you require as a multi pitch climber.  
   
• Self Rescue for Climber – Learn how to deal with an unconscious climber, escaping the belay system, assisted and unassisted hoists and many more problems that you may come across on climbs.
   
• Mountain Training England qualifaction course for Single Pitch SPA and Climbing Wall Awards CWAC

Caving lets you explore what is deep under the ground we walk on every day. Stuart Igoe can guide you into this different and exciting sport, whether you are a beginner or want to expand your horizons. Two things that Stuart Igoe can do are;

• Introduction to caving – A perfect way to get into caving, you will explore the underground limestone scenery of Yorkshire Dales National Park. Provided with helmets, Wellingtons and lamps, all you need to bring is yourself. If you have a little bit more experience, other caves can be arranged for groups to view.
   
• Introduction to Single Rope Technique. – A two day course for people who want to reach the depths of caves, this course is designed for people who have experience in caving and want to reach new depths. By the end you should be confident in your skills.

If you have always thought that Abseiling looked fun, but were a bit scared to try, now is the time for you to challenge yourself and bite the bullet. Using a variety of abseiling venues all over the Greater Manchester area- and throughout the United Kingdom- that range from heights of 25 – 150 feet, Stuart Igoe will guide you so that you feel safe and confident in your abilities.

Abseiling is a great challenge for all ages, abilities and skill levels to try in a fun, informative and safe environment.  All equipment is provided for, you just need to bring yourself and a sense of adventure. • GPS training – Helps you gain an understanding of the characteristics and basic use of a hand held GPS so that you will be able to use one to its maximum navigational advantage.

Even when using modern equipment, Archery still requires the same skill needed in the time of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Archery is a great activity for groups such as schools, families, companies, colleges and friends to do together, as it can accommodate all ages and skill levels. Archery can also be a great sport to do as an individual or as a team event.

With open events every alternate Sundays to compete in, Stuart Igoe can guide you to what you want to do, and deliver sessions to your specific requirements.
