Senda y Roca

Practice climbing any of the Spanish or world mountain ranges, the Senda y Roca teams adapt to your preferences and will accompany you wherever you want to make ascents.

We follow routes for amateurs and beginners in this sport. We provide you with the material you need to practice and teach you the basics if you are new to climbing. In this case we will start with easy ascents that do not require very high physical preparation.

We propose different places to practice climbing in Spain:

- Guadarrama: where we find Cuerda Larga, for example, or we can go to La Pedriza to have one of the first contact sessions with this modality.

- Pyrenees: we can try to reach Aneto, or climb through the Monte Perdido and Ordesa Park choosing the appropriate level.

- Gredos: there, among other peaks, La Covacha or the Bohoyo Gorge await us.

- Cantabrian Mountains and the Picos de Europa: choose if you prefer to visit Torre Bermeja or Espiguete, among other proposals.

Practice hiking and mid-mountain routes with our specialized staff anywhere in Spain that you want, Senda y Roca organizes your personalized excursion.

We work on 3 main levels in the difficulty of the itinerary to be followed:

• Low level: excursion that we do on slopes less than 500 meters. You only need to be in good physical shape to participate in any of the expeditions that are organized. The route will last about 4 hours, which will depend on the itinerary we follow and how many hikers are in the group.

• Medium level: includes slopes up to 1000 meters and lasting more than 4 hours, so it is recommended for people accustomed to hiking or long daily walks.

• High level: walks on slopes greater than 1000 meters, so previous experience in mountaineering is ideal for practicing at this level. They are routes that will take us more than 6 hours.
