Company Overview
At Guías de Guara we love nature and that is why we have a wide range of offers so that you can also join us to enjoy it. Among our most popular activities are mountain guiding and training, as well as canyoning and hiking. In winter, one of the star options is skiing.
We offer active tourism, using nature and own resources to be carried out in all seasons of the year.
All members of Guías de Guara are qualified and have years of experience working in the mountains, starting from scratch with users who want to approach the mountains for the first time and preparing professionals.
We are in the Sierra de Guara where we have all the necessary conditions to carry out our activities. However, as good sports lovers, we are not limited to our area, among the places we usually frequent are Morocco, the Pyrenees or the Alps.
Summary Canyoning
Thinking about disconnecting in the middle of nature? With Guara Canyoning Guides you will have the perfect option to say goodbye to the routine and make an original plan in Huesca.
Canyoning is one of the most popular activities that can be practiced in the Sierra de Guara, which is why you will find the most expert mountain guides. Furthermore, it is an activity that will allow you to delve into a landscape that otherwise, you would never discover.
We can do canyoning of three levels of difficulty so you can choose the one that best suits your experience and physical conditions. The most famous ravines are those of La Peonera, El Formiga or Barrasil, although fortunately our region has an infinite variety of ravines.
- Initiation level canyoning. We will descend ravines through which we will only have to walk and in some cases swim and take small jumps. We will also slide down natural slides, so even the little ones in the house will be able to do the activity.
- Medium level canyoning. Descend through ravines where you will find slides, pools and jumps. This activity can be practiced from the age of 9, it will take us about 4 hours and it will be essential to know how to swim.
- Expert level canyoning. We will find a long ravine in which we will use descent techniques, rappelling and some expert maneuvers, always guided by our instructors.
For any type of descent we will need to bring a swimsuit, comfortable shoes that can get wet, sun protection cream and a desire to have a great time. Don't miss it!
Summary Snowshoeing
Guías de Guara Snowshoes encourages you to live the experience of climbing snowy mountains with the help of snowshoes and poles.
In addition, we will go up to discover snow-capped valleys belonging to the Pyrenees. Even if you forget your camera at home, we assure you that you will not be able to forget these landscapes. Among the most visited will be the Aran Valley, Posets-Maladeta or Parc Nacional d'Aigües Tortes.
Don't forget to bring waterproof mountain boots, warm clothing, sunglasses, gloves and sunscreen. Also, it wouldn't be bad if you brought some food like a sandwich or some nuts to replenish your energy a little.
Summary Via Ferrata
Guara Vía Ferrata Guides wants you to get started in the world of climbing with one of its most affordable variants for all audiences: the via ferrata.
Thanks to the conditioning of the mountains, we will be able to climb vertical walls, equipped, of course, with a harness and material. Via ferratas are characterized because they are horizontal progressions (with Tibetan bridges and zip lines) and also vertical ones, thanks to clamps and holds. We will go through steps, Tibetan bridges and countless obstacles of different levels, according to our preparation.
We advise you to do this activity from the age of 9.
One of our instructors will accompany you throughout the entire tour. We have extensive experience doing mountain activities, so we know that the next time we see each other, we will do a higher level or even dare to mountain climb.
Summary Mountain Biking
Guara BTT Guides puts you to the test to come visit some of the abandoned towns that make up the geography of the Sierra de Guara. A two-in-one activity because two-wheel lovers will enjoy the tours while visiting locations worthy of the Fourth Millennium program.
But we don't just limit ourselves to visiting towns by bicycle, we also plan different routes that allow us to test our physical condition. We have simple tours, for ages 9 and up and whose duration and intensity will always depend on you. Obviously, we will always ask you what you most want, so that the experience will always be as fun as possible.
In our case, to enjoy the experience you need to bring your mountain bike, helmet (mandatory) and gloves.
If you want us to take care of bringing you a picnic, don't hesitate to ask us.
