Company Overview
At El Tranco we are a company dedicated to active tourism in which we organize activities and adventure sports for the whole family. We are in the middle of the Cazorla, Segura y las Villas Natural Park, what better natural environment than this?
The activities we offer are the following:
- Boat trip: either by renting a boat, a pedal boat or enjoying a ride on our solar boat.
- Kayak: with our canoes, double or individual, you can enjoy the environment that surrounds us from the river or the reservoir. You choose.
- Archery: get started in this sport with the help of our instructors. You only need concentration and balance, aim is practiced.
- Zipline: we have a 140-meter zipline with a climbing wall. An experience that will allow you to contemplate the landscape from above.
- Canyoning: our instructors will guide you through all sections of the river so that you can enjoy each of its peculiarities.
- Rafting: Gather a group of friends and get on the raft to challenge yourself against the force of the water. Pure adrenaline!
- Paddle Surf: a sport originating from ancient Polynesia that has become fashionable due to its numerous benefits. Find out what they are.
- Hiking: with the help of our guides you can get to know the surroundings in an enjoyable and fun way while you exercise.
- Ornithology: take the opportunity to enjoy the varied flora and fauna of the area. We are lucky to be one of the richest habitats in the region.
We also put at your disposal a restaurant service where you can taste the typical cuisine while contemplating the beauty of the reservoir. We also have a store where you can buy some souvenirs or regional products, ideal for giving as a gift or keeping a souvenir of a fun day.
Summary Canyoning
In this small paradise located in the vicinity of Cortijos Nuevos, is the Cerrada del Utrero Canyon. Here we carry out a canyoning activity that runs along the Guadalquivir River a few kilometers from its source. In this canyon descent we will find a large number of pools with crystal clear waters and different waterfalls.
This activity does not require any previous experience, so if you want to start in this discipline and you are 8 years old or older, you will not have any problem if you know how to move easily, know how to swim and of course want to live a unforgettable experience among the rocks and river paths that run through the Natural Park.
All this with the supervision and safety of our professional instructors and the best quality material. Don't worry about recharging your batteries, when we finish we will stop by our restaurant and you will be able to delight yourself with the typical gastronomy of the region and enjoy an incredible landscape.
Summary Rafting
At El Tranco we have been offering the best adventure sports in the Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park for several years and many dips behind us. We plan differenttours full of emotions, adrenaline rushes and enjoymentfor friends, couples, family and all types of groups in Cortijos Nuevos, province of Jaén.
Within this natural enclave is the source of one of the most important rivers on the peninsula, the Guadalquivir River. Another advantage of spending a new and unforgettable vacation is being able to do active tourism while releasing adrenaline and getting away from the big cities to mix with nature.
In this sense, one of our specialties is rafting. An aquatic boat for groups that consists of a pneumatic raft with oars and that you will have to control in the middle of rapids and different currents while you descend down the river towards lower heights with calmer waters. Our activity is born in the Alto Guadalquivir and our professional guides direct the course, in full collaboration with the group where we will travel nine kilometers of white water from Puente Agustines to Puente Ortega,
As we know that at the end you will end up with a smile from ear to ear and at the same time exhausted, our restaurant will be waiting for you, specializing in typical dishes from the region and in the middle of a unique landscape in the province of Jáen.
