We provide a parachute jump from 2 miles high. You will be accompanied by an instructor through the whole process, even the jump so that you do not have to worry about opening the parachute yourself.

Once the aircraft has reached its designated altitude of 12,000ft, it is time to freefall! The freefall experience only lasts about 35 seconds but you will remain with the feeling forever. The parachute is normally deployed about 5000ft and then you will enjoy a parachute ride that lasts about 5 minutes. What´s more, you will be left breathless by the views if you manage to keep your eyes open. The Lake District is a picturesque place and perfect for skydiving.

• Lead Rein Rides: if you have never ridden a horse, this is the course for you. You will guide your horse, but if you struggle, the guide can control your horse with a second rein.

• Short treks: for those who are not afraid to try things on their first or second experience. This ride will take you through the best experience and you will even get to trot!

• Horse Hacks: for experienced riders. To take part of this experience you must know how to walk your horse, trot and canter.

The first thing you will have to do will be to learn how to drive our wonderful machines by driving in our circuit. After that you will be allowed to take the 4x4 on a ride through the most adventurous traks while you explore the Lake District.

To take part in this activity you will need a valid Brittish Driving licence. It doesn’t matter if you have never driven a 4x4 before or if you are an experience cross-country driver and have your own 4x4, you can come with us and enjoy the thrill of driving and discovering new roads.

This sport consists on shooting at a target with a modern bow and arrow. If you are a thoughtful type of person this is the sport for you, as it requires practice and concentration.

The objective of this activity is to get as many arrows as possible in the centre of the target. Beguinners will start at a distance of 20 yards, but the most expert shooters will have to try from a 100 yards!

The other option we offer is field archery, in which you will have to shoot at unmarked targets within the forests and landmarks of the Lake District. This type of archery is becoming very popular, be one of the first to try it!

The requirements for this activity are simple: be willing to crawl underground over mud and water. Provided with a headlamp and a harness you will get into the most difficult caves and admire their geology and the weird forms of their stalactites and stalagmites.

Depending on the cave, you will have to deal with pitches, underground streams and tight squeezes which will challenge your adventure. To help you with the most difficult passages you will use ropes, and climbing might be necessary to avoid the most dangerous spots.

It consists on sliding down a wall with the assistance of a rope that controls your descent. We offer different  levels of difficulty depending on your experience. Beguinners can start on the local crags and more experienced abseilers can practice their skills on viaducts or bridges over rivers.

This sport is considered the safest of all extreme sports and it can be done by people of all ages independently of their fitness level. You will not need any special gear to practice it and it can be combined with mountain climbing to get the full package.

Kayaking is a sport that has taken off in the last few years following the method and the boats eskimos use for transport on the sea. Their boats have an elongated form and are covered with animal skin except for a hole around the waist. They are steered with a two bladed paddle.

Their adaptation to the western world allows beginners to learn quickly this new skill. You will start out on a lake and subsequently progress to a river in later sessions. We have courses suited for beginners and experienced kayaker.

We can also arrange accomodations for you or adapt our courses for your needs in case you want to come with a big group.

For the most daring and experienced we have the possiblity to kayak on white waters, a wonderful experience for all those adrenaline junkies!

We offer kite surfing activities all along England's west coast, where the beaches are excellent for surfing and the wind is a faithful companion.

Kite surfing is summer's extreme sport as it lets a canopy or a kite power your surfboard. The surfer must master the skill of steering the canopy without falling from the surfboard. You will have loads of fun while you learn this new skill.

Clay Pigeon shooting at Destination Cumbria is a fast paced adventure taking place in three different stunning locations across the Lake District. Our Shooting instructors are excellent at getting even the most nervous of shooters hitting targets in no time.

For any shooting experience we have the challenge for you! Simple shooting is termed as Down the Line in which you have about 25 attempts to hit the clay discs when they fly out just waiting to explode.

When you miss, the instructors are there with little tips and techniques to make sure you get the knack sooner rather than later. If you are shooting well then we can tweak the setup to make it more challenging for you.
