Summary Cross-Country Skiing
At Club Alpino Barcelona Ski Cross Country we love what we do. In the mountains we feel in our midst. We need to feel the adrenaline of traveling through the mountains, delighting in the wonderful mountain landscapes that nature gives us.
Some of the ascents with mountain skis that we do are:
- Pic de la Mina: Beautiful ascent on skis to Pic de la Mina in French Cerdanya, which with its 2,683 meters of altitude offers us an excellent viewpoint of the Andorran mountains from the Porte-Puymorens cirque.
- Ascension to Puigmal: We will carry out the ascent from France and following the classic itinerary from the Les Planes parking lot (2,030 meters). A total of 830 meters of elevation gain and about 3 hours of ascent in which we highlight a fabulous descent with powder snow and the surprising lack of mountaineers in one of the most popular peaks of the Cereta Pyrenees.
- Night ascent to Tossa de Alp: We organize the classic ascent to Puigmal (2,911 meters) with mountain skis. This time and unlike previous years in Nuría, we will do it from France. The activity is open from beginner to advanced level and we will have the valuable contribution of Joan Robles, an experienced backcountry skier.

Summary Climbing
The members of Club Alpino Barcelona Escalada are passionate about the mountains. We are always looking for new challenges to feed our desire for adventure. We are a team of specialist mountaineers with all the necessary qualifications.
Some of the ascents we have made are:
- Punta de la Vinyola: Along the Esperó dels Francesos route, we ascended to the Punta de la Vinyola (2,727 meters) located in the Coll de Puymorens. The grade III route with some point of grade IV is located to the left of the West Corridor of Punta de la Vinyola. It is necessary to set up 5 meeting points and rappel 4 meters + last meeting before reaching the summit.
- Fontfreda i L`Estanyol: Beautiful climb to Fontfreda at 2,735 meters and Pic de L'estanyol 2,586 (Porte, France). First meeting with Oscar Alemany where he demonstrated his great knowledge of technical climbing. We highlight the great weather that accompanied us as well as the double ridge that joins both peaks and that required maximum concentration from Alberto and me.
