Bardenas Aventure

Bardenas Aventure will take you to discover the impressive desert landscapes of the Bardenas Reales on the back of one of its horses. To make the experience more complete, you will be provided with a guide who will be happy to tell you the history of this desert and guide you along the most special trails.

They propose six tours on horseback:

• I. Horseback riding route through the Vedado de Eguaras.
• II. Piskerra, the Azagadero area and also the Rallón.
• III. A horseback ride through the Rincón del Bu reserve.
• IV. You will get to know La Nasa de Bardenas, the so-called Blue Tripe, and the Bardena Negra.
• V. This route is done through the Bardena Negra. The area of Punta del Alba, the well-known Val del Chan, and the Sendero de la Negra.
• SAW. A tour for the most daring, you will bathe with the horses in the Las Bardenas Reales reservoir.

You must take into account the following rules of conduct:

• It is strictly prohibited to make fires in rocky areas.
• Going off the trails is dangerous.
• Garbage should not be thrown away, since its perfect conservation depends on everyone.
• Animals that live in freedom deserve not to be disturbed.
• Uprooting plants can cause damage to nature.

Bardenas Adventure is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Navarra, its famous desert of Las Bardenas Reales. An area that bears a great resemblance to the "Grand Canyon" desert of Colorado, in northern Arizona. This great similarity is what makes this arid landscape one of the strong points of Navarra.

And its enormous and unique rock formations together with its original mountains make this Navarrese landscape a perfect place to ride a bicycle.

Bardenas Adventure has specialized guides who will show you the desert and the most fun trails. If you have your own bicycle, you just have to bring it. For those who like it but do not have a mountain bike, you can rent it before starting the tour.

They have five mountain bike routes waiting for you:

Route 1: You will start in Vedado de Eguaras, you will visit the Peñalflor Castle, the beautiful area of Landazuría, and Punta de la Estroza.
Route 2: A route through Piskerra, (Arista Bonita or Paso del Ciervo), and Rallón.
Route 3: You will enjoy the Rincón del Bú, the Balcón de Pilatos, the Cuesta de la Madera, and of course, Castildetierra.
Route 4: The guide will take you to Bardena Negra, Sancho Abarca, and Caídas de la Negra.
Route 5: On this route you will pass through Caídas de la Negra, and through El Fraile.
All its routes are for groups of at least five people.

The best mountain bike routes in the Bardenas desert!

Bardenas Aventure wants you to know the uniqueness of the Bardenas Reales, with its peculiar rock formations. To be able to explore the immensity of its 40,000 hectares, they offer you 4x4. This way you can travel the greatest number of kilometers and take some spectacular photos at some of its most emblematic points.

You have six 4x4 routes to choose from:

• Route 1: You will discover the Vedado de Eguaras Natural Reserve, the beautiful Punta de la Estroza, Piskerra and the Castildetierra area.
• Route 2: Perfect route to see the Rincón del Bú Natural Reserve, get to know the Cuesta de la Madera, the Rallón area, Piskerra and the Castildetierra peak.
• Route 3: The best way to get to know the central area of Bardenas and enjoy the views of the Rincón del Bú Reserve.
• Route 4: A route through Bardena Negra and the well-known Balcón de Pilatos.
• Route 5: The most complete 4x4 route is the Excelent Route (It joins routes one and two, so its duration is longer).
• Route 6: Perfect route to explore the Tripa Azul and the Bardena Negra area.

They have several Toyota HZJ 105 Africanos and several Range Rovers. Check the duration of the routes and the schedules.
