Via ferratas are climbing routes in which we not only cling to the rock, but also progress horizontally or vertically along a sports itinerary equipped with anchors, steps, chains, bridges,... that always count with a steel cable as a safety line. The material used to progress along a via ferrata is artificially installed on the wall and perfectly camouflaged to have the least visual impact.

With Aventura Ronda Vía Ferrata this activity allows anyone to enjoy the feeling of emptiness of a vertical and aerial climb but without the technical and physical complication that is needed in rock climbing. As these are itineraries halfway between hiking and climbing, they must be considered easy passages for a climber who has mastered progression and safety techniques, but dangerous for hikers without any type of technical preparation, who access them, sometimes completely alone. The tourism revitalization plans, managed by the Malaga Provincial Council and endorsed by the Andalusian Mountaineering Federation, contemplate the placement of 11 via ferratas in the Malaga region of the Serranía de Ronda, thus becoming the first network of this type in all of Andalusia. .
