Caiac Club Baix Llobregat

Caiac Club Baix Llobregat is a kayak navigation teaching center that was born with the intention that both children and parents participate in our hobby, which is track canoeing in particular and sea kayaking as recreational and walking activity.

In our center we offer different courses:

• Initiation course: The requirements to participate are to know how to swim and be determined to learn kayaking. If a person knows how to swim, he surely learns to shovel. If you learn to shovel, you will have the most fun ever. Complete equipment is provided by the club. Required age from 8 to 99 years. The course takes place 365 days a year in 4 sessions of 90 minutes

• Improvement course: It is necessary to have completed the initiation course or have some experience in kayak navigation. This course is not for beginners. Its objective is to expand knowledge both in practice and theory, seeking comprehensive physical and technical improvement according to the specific objective determined by the student.

• Eskimo course: For those seeking to overcome personal limits and safety at all times. An eskimo or roll course implies wanting to advance and achieve new knowledge about the most specific and advanced techniques of kayaking. Once the course is finished, students must take home the necessary exercises to improve their technique and thus be able to self-correct.
