UTE Espaimar

Try the main water sports of Badalona with Espaimar. We put them at your fingertips right on the beach from the CN Nautical School in the city so that you have them at hand at any time of the year. These are:

• Kayak: with a rental service so you can take routes of 1 or 2 hours through this part of the Mediterranean. If you come with the clothes to bring on board, which you can put on in the changing room we have, we will leave you the life jacket and the paddle to move out to sea.

• Paddle surf: if you want to use traditional size boards, ask us for the equipment for rental to use it for 60 or 120 minutes. We can also organize groups of up to 6 people, starting from a minimum of 3, to take an excursion along these coasts and beaches on the SUP board. Another option that you can take advantage of as a group is giant paddle surfing taking the largest of our boards out to sea to share among several friends.

• Light sailing: guided outings also from 3 participants and with a maximum of 6 people per route. They are 2-hour boat trips with instructions on what maneuvers we use on board to put distance between ourselves and the coast and later return to the beach.

At Espaimar we give you the opportunity to rent a kayak in Badalona using the base of the Nautical School of the Swimming Club.

We use boats that are so easy to use that you can leave the school boundaries with them to row around the Mediterranean. The usual rental time is 1 hour, with the possibility of also requesting routes of 120 minutes and the rate that we will provide you is for one participant. Keep in mind that 2 people can also go out in two-seater kayaks.

With this service you have the right to use the locker room to change. We recommend an outfit that is adapted to the time of year in which you come to visit us. In this way, in the summer months you will have to bring a swimsuit and a t-shirt. To protect yourself from the sun you must remember to put a cap and sunscreen with a filter in your backpack. In the fall and winter seasons you can protect yourself from the lowest temperatures with neoprene and booties.

In any case, we will lend you a life belt to carry throughout the activity, providing greater security to the journey you have planned.

At UTE Espaimar we maintain direct contact with the Mediterranean throughout the year and dinghy sailing in Badalona is one of the ways we follow to do so.

These small and agile boats are an interesting way to take a route through the sea while learning the first notions about navigation techniques. The rides that we organize are scheduled to last approximately 120 minutes and we will go out with groups of at least 3 participants. We set the maximum number of places at a total of 6.

You can bring your clothes to the changing rooms of the CN Badalona Nautical School, since by booking the outing you will be able to use these facilities. In the summer period, of course, you should wear a swimsuit, but you will be safer if you also protect your skin with a T-shirt, the appropriate sunscreen, and a cap or something similar for your head.

With everything ready we will go to the sailboats that we will already have prepared on the beach. We will distribute life jackets for you to wear over your clothes and we will board the boats to begin the itinerary out to sea.

Keep in mind that we are operational all year round and during the fall and winter, if the conditions are good, you can also go sailing.

At Espaimar we have thought about the ways that will make you the most enjoy paddle surfing in Badalona. Under this idea we present to you:

- Stand up paddle equipment rental: as it is one of the easiest activities to practice, we rent it for you so you can go out for a ride for as long as you want. You can do it for a minimum of 60 minutes and we will leave you a life jacket. If you bring your swimsuit, which we recommend since you are going to be in contact with the sea, you can put it on in our changing rooms.

- Paddle surf XL: a giant board in which the departure is done in a group. You will share a board but not a paddle, we will provide one to each participant and your job will be to coordinate to all advance together. It is one of the most fun proposals in relation to sup and lends itself to many games in the water.

- Guided SUP route in Badalona: on days when the Mediterranean remains calm, we take you on 2-hour trips in groups of between 3 and 6 people. We will head to new beaches, leaving the base of our nautical school, to get to know the surroundings while we sail relaxed.
