Workshops on operating an avalanche detection device or reading an avalanche bulletin, as well as the study of snow crystals and the snowpack, are presented throughout the hike. All this is designed to immerse you in a fantastic journey.
Good to know:
- Bring hiking shoes suitable for snow, waterproof and warm. Fur-lined boots will also suffice.
- It is highly recommended to bring ski equipment, including gloves, hats, goggles and ski masks, as well as sunscreen and a bottle of water.

- We are pleased to welcome you to Accous to get to know you!
- You will meet your guide and he will explain the planned route, which valleys you will visit, which mountains, etc. . Then he will give you a safety briefing as well as a safety workshop. During this activity, you will see how to use a DVA (Avalanche Victim Detector), how to interpret a BRA (Avalanche Risk Bulletin), how to analyze the snow crystals and the snow mantle. Finally, you will see how to build a solid igloo!
