Sea kayaking is an excellent way for your little ones to get out on the water and engage in a well spent afternoon.
Children should be at least 12 years old to participate and the offer extends to 16 years old to be considered for the "children" price.
This excursion lasts half a day and the itinerary is as follows:
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our highly qualified Kayak instructors. They will get you all suited up and teach you how to use the kayaks. This introductory lesson will last about 30 minutes.
You will then hop in the water, paddle out of the busy harbor into peaceful waters. Your instructor will be guiding and helping you every step of the way.
For 1 hour and 30 minutes you will explore the coast, fish and lobster pot, come across wildlife, and explore caves.
The group will take a 30 minute break on a secret, secluded beach where you can get off your kayak and go for a swim. Our instructors will be setting up a fire to roast marshmallows.
Your adventure comes to a close as you enjoy a 1 hour scenic paddle back to Dartmouth.
