If you thought that aquatic activities were limited to those most famous coasts in Spain, you were wrong. In the Asturian city of Gijón, we have great beaches for all kinds of water sports and we want you to see it by renting one of our kayaks and visiting its main coastal points.
Being a small and easy to handle boat, you will not need experience to rent it. In addition, an instructor will give you a short theoretical talk before starting so that you can sail with basic knowledge.
In this way, equipped with a life jacket, your paddle and your kayak, you can begin your marine adventure that will depart from the Port of Gijón. You can ask us which areas are most beautiful and curious. Very close to the port is the sculpture In Praise of the Horizon, which can be seen from the sea.
If you like paddling and you have a good rhythm, in the hour that you will be on the kayak, you will be able to reach different points. For example, Poniente Beach, Punta Peña del Cuervo or, further away, San Lorenzo Beach. In all of them you will find a unique charm.
The maximum number of people to carry out this activity will be 16 adults or 24 children.
