Descent of the seal in kayak from Las Rozas 4-19km

If you are in Asturias and want to spend a different day, you cannot miss the famous kayak descent of the Sella from our headquarters in Las Rozas de Villanueva, in Cangas de Onís.

Over 3-4 hours, you will row in the waters of the Sella River in a very fun descent accompanied by the presence of your friends, family or partner.

Before starting the trip, we ask that you come to our facilities a few minutes early to prepare. There we will give you the neoprene suit and the life jacket, the use of which is mandatory. We will also give you a watertight container to store your belongings without them getting wet.

In addition, as prior preparation, the guide will explain the fundamental techniques of this sport. These are very simple, so don't worry if you've never ridden a canoe before. Tips on how to handle the boat, make turns and row, will be some of your teachings.

Then the excitement begins! The team, already settled in their kayak, will depart on a journey that may be 4, 12 or 19 kilometers, you decide the end of the route!

• Rout 1: from Las Rozas to Arrionadas (4 kilometers).
• Rout 2: from Las Rozas to Nuevo Toraño (12 kilometers).
• Rout 3: from Las Rozas to Llovio (19 kilometers).

Along the way you will not only have fun with the activity, but you will also enjoy the beautiful natural environment of the Sella River, you will love it!

From our center located inLas Rozas de Villanueva, in Cangas de Onís, we invite you to rent the material that we have available for all our clients.

For 3-4 hours, both the boat and the oars will be all yours! But don't worry if it's the first time you're approaching this experience, because when you rent, a professional monitor will give you an explanation on how you should handle the boat with the help of the paddles.

The route may be longer or shorter, you decide, since we have three different endings: inArriondas (4 kilometers), in Nuevo Toraño (12 kilometers) or in Llovio (19 kilometers). 

So that you are properly equipped, we will also give you a life jacket, which you can put on in our facilities. We will also provide you with a waterproof bottle and a picnic to regain strength during the tour, consisting of achorizo and cheese sandwich, a fruit, a dessert and a bottle of water.
