hydrospeed also called riverboarding is an adventure sport which consists of using a small floating board to strong>navigateon the river. Unlike Kayaking or rafting, hydrospeed allows you to quickly descend the Nivewith your head forward and using your arms and legs. legs to steer, maneuver and control speed.
A typical hydrospeed board is made of dense foam and is shaped like a miniature surfboard, with handles and fins for better control. You will wear a wetsuit, fins, helmet and life jacket for the perfect activity.
During your session, you will follow an instructor on a river course which can go from calm sections to rapids. Your instructor will be able to perfectly explain the techniques to use to best manage your riverboarding. There will also be demonstrations and training to ensure everyone can master the board.
Hydrospeed is a fascinating physical activity that requires the ability to swim and be comfortable in fast-moving water.
