Horseback riding with picnic in Tuscany

The itinerary that we propose with this offer concerns the area that extends from Collecchio to Talamone, through an area of low vegetation until you can admire the rocky coast of the Maremma Park and the splendid panorama that allows the view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.

We walk along the crest of the hill for a while, being moved by the splendid openings towards the sea that we will encounter, and then completely immerse ourselves in the colors and scents of the Mediterranean scrub.
We will then take the downhill path that will lead us to the small beach that extends at the foot of the hill dominated by the Torre delle Cannelle, a sixteenth-century tower that was part of the Talamone Presidium.
Surrounded by the wonderful views of the coast and the Maremma hinterland, the path we will follow will escort us to the area of dense vegetation and many caves, which became famous in the past for having favored the hiding of dangerous and legendary bandits.

After another suggestive stretch of route along the ridge, we continue on an ancient customs road, immersed in holm oak vegetation. The path then once again takes on a path of low, bushy vegetation which offers panoramic views of the Maremma hinterland.
We continue through lush woods and near Poggio Raso we take a path that in a short time allows us to reach a view of the sea and from there to the Grotta dello Stoppa, a natural ravine that takes its name from a brigand born and lived in Talamone.
