Night in the geodesic dome for two in Civitella Paganico
General information
Deal overview
In winter we recommend the Crystal geodesic dome. It is air conditioned and open all year round, has almost all glass walls and on Valentine's Day allows you to sleep warm with the sky above the bed. The night for two includes the buffet breakfast the following day.
It is a half sphere made of triangles on top of a hill on our farm in Civitella Paganico. Its shape allows air and heat to circulate well, so it stays cool in summer and warm in winter. Inside there is a double bed, a single bed and a private bathroom with shower, while outside you will also find an outdoor shower.
The best hours are those of sunset and night, when you can book dinner in a bivouac in front of the dome from April to mid-October or have it served inside, and then end the evening with a hot bath in the larch hot tub. These are extras that are paid for at the facility and the hot tub must be requested half a day in advance.
The stars, however, depend on the clouds and the moon. No one can guarantee them for a specific date, but with the overcast sky it still remains a warm night under the glass, surrounded by the Maremma countryside.
